Youth Chaperone Policy
Effective March 1, 2019

Welcome to River Oaks Center! To ensure a safe and family friendly shopping experience the mall has established a Youth Chaperone Policy. All guests age 17 and under must be escorted by an adult age 21 or older after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

• Youth Chaperone Policy states guests age 17 and under must be accompanied AT ALL TIMES by a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older on Fridays and Saturdays after 5 pm.
• Unsupervised guests under the age of 17 must leave the property on Fridays and Saturdays by 5pm or be joined by a supervising adult over the age of 21.
• One parent or adult escort (age 21 or older) can supervise up to 5 youths. All accompanied youth must remain with the supervising adult at all times. The supervising adult is responsible for the youth they accompany.
• Guests are responsible for carrying acceptable proof of age (i.e., photo ID with date of birth, including driver’s license, military or college ID or passport). Those without proper ID will be asked to leave the property.
• Mall employees 17 and under may continue to work within their store during Youth Chaperone Policy Hours. Persons 17 and under must adhere to the Youth Chaperone Policy if their shift ends during policy hours. Employees of the mall must be prepared to show valid ID and proof of employment.
